I ordered this as the lightest option to have on hand for days exploring in the SUV when you might discover a small lake or small tame river that you want to cross to test a new fishing pool. Everything fits in a small snowboard backpack including a 4piece carbon paddle and a multi piece 5wt fly rod - minimally obtrusive and perfect for these impromptu occasions. Also straps nicely to the rack of a small dual sport bike. I find the inflation bag works pretty well, but still may purchase one of the light feather pumps (mostly for complete deflation and smaller packing). The kids have also had a lot of fun with it, using like a floating pool of warm water on the local lakes this summer - has held up well to this type of abuse, but it is a light material, so wouldn’t recommend dragging over a barnacle beach on the coast or the like. May pick up a second unit to share the fun :)

I inflated the raft in my living room but won't be using it until ice- off in April. There seemed to be some minor stress points in the fabric but thd raft held air for the inspection time. I am wondering if there is a way to ensure I do not exceed the specified 1.3 psi? I look forward to using the raft this spring.
