Dubious functionality

Not good. Followed instructions on the card. Kayak will not stay on the cart doing as it is explained. Bought ratchet straps and run the straps through part of the boat itself and it mostly stays on now but can still shift

Dubious functionality

Experience so far is not great. Bought this last summer to move my recreational kayak down a gravel driveway +/- 100feet, then couple hundred feet to access point to the water. Followed instructions on the card but no matter how tight i do the straps- and I bought ratchet straps to use not the skimpy ones that came with, 98% of the time the boat slides off the cart!! My 93 year old father insists it is simple physics for that to happen. He insists if I can find a way to run the straps though some part of the boat the problem will be solved! My boat doesn't have an obvious spot so am looking to see if I can create one. Makers of the cart should be providing a video to go with the instructions card and telling you to run the straps through something on your boat if possible!
